How It Works
Follow these simple steps to purchase prepaid electricity

Register Your Meter
For meters we support, you’ll need to register your meter with WireIT so we know where to send your token. You can do this here online using Register or SMS your meter number to 36073.

Make A Payment
Make a payment to WireIT (a bank defined beneficiary) using your meter number as our reference using any banking method available to you. Once the bank receives your payment and lets us know, we can start processing your token.

Get Your Token
According to the rules of your municipality / service provider, we will generate your token using the reference (the meter number) you provided and send it to your registered email address and/or via SMS without delay.
Mobile Purchasing
- Go into your bank to the enquiries counter.
- Request for a NEW Beneficiary to be loaded onto your account.
- The NEW beneficiary WIREIT must be taken from the "Bank Defined Beneficiary" list.
- Add your Meter Number as a reference.
- Once they confirm that the new beneficiary is loaded, you are ready to purchase your electricity via your cell.
ATM Purchasing
- Go into your bank to the enquiries counter.
- Request for a NEW Beneficiary to be loaded onto your account.
- The NEW beneficiary WIREIT must be taken from the "Bank Defined Beneficiary" list.
- Once they confirm that the new beneficiary is loaded, you are ready to purchase your electricity via ATM.
